As all of you know that Nicol David is the world’s number one queen professional squash player and become the role model around the globe. Nicol’s success in Malaysia sport arena. Enthralling astonished enough as she never tails and constantly dazzle the international squash scene. Nicol having physical resilience and mental strong and unrivaled speed it. A squash player is made up of different personalities and qualities such as skill, power, passion, Creativity, Mental Toughness, and so on. All the thing must come in the same levels to be a consistent in squash player. So that a successful squash player could be emerged.

PERSONAL LIFE. Talk about on Nicol’s background. Nicol’s full name is Nicol Ann David and Nicol nick name is Duracell Bunny. She was born on 26 August 1983 in the Pearl of the Orient Penang, Malaysia. The most interesting thing about Nicol is that she is mixed blood. She is a mixture of Chinese and Indian. Where her father was Indian and her was mother is Chinese. She is a daughter to Desmond David as an engineer and Ann Marie David a school teacher but currently retired. She has two sisters named Lianne Marie and Cheryl. Which both of them are also accomplished squash players at the national level. She proud to be penangite. Nicol was conferred the Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri (DSPN) from her home state of Penang in the year 2008 then went on to become Malaysia’s youngest Datuk by king of Malaysia the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin. The award is limited to 10 recipients only as it is for people who have made significant contributions in the arts, sciences and the humanities. She was also awarded as The Outstanding Young Malaysian Award for Personal Development & Accomplishment. Lucky her because at the young age, she has received Datukship. Of course her mother and father are flattered and proud because for Nicol’s achievement.

CAREER SQUASH. Nicol strong in games squash are because she has played squash since she was small. No wonder she is called as the world greatest players in squash games. Nicol started playing squash when she merely five years old but that just for fun but as time past by, turned Nicol serious in the game and started formal training at the tender age of 8. Nicol has fantastic and immune record of performance in Asia after winning the Asian championship a enormous five times in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Nicol strength while playing is in right hand. To be much proud of, Nicol won gold medal at the world open in Germany to become the youngest squash world champion. Nicol’s also received the title as the first Asian woman to be ranked as world number one in the sport. The interesting part was Nicol won world open and endured at each year from 2005 till 2009 champion.

ARENA. Nicol’s now adhere as either sport special court beraket the after Arena Nicol David officially declared. In 2009. the main court of the National Squash Centre (NSC) has been officially named after the four-time world champion Nicol David. On that time, Nicol went into her court to have the first game versus the Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek on Nicol David Arena. Achieve a success is not easy because it requires skill, endurance, honesty in go through every challenge that would be faced. She is also a living legend because it is proven that all the people can be exceptional strong and versatile in both sports and education fields. We as Malaysian should be flattered with the existence of world standard player such as Nicol. Only with a stick squash, it able jolted world. If I could be as her. But what force, I only able to support her from back only because I have asthma...can’t be that active….huhu
